Through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in being advocates. NCCA was established in March of 2013. Since then we have held several successful fundraisers to directly benefit Lassen and Plumas County cancer fighters. To date we have been able to provide support to community members totaling over $60,000. We have held an annual “Swing for Cancer” golf tournament along with an annual “5k Run or Walk for Cancer” for the past 5 years. These events were a great success and we look forward to this years events. This would not be possible without such a giving community and the tireless efforts from our volunteers. NCCA is looking for community members in the Plumas County area (Quincy, Chester, Westwood, Greenville, etc.) who have been affected by cancer and are in need of our services.
